What happens when we take a promotion at work?

Would you suddenly take on more responsibilities, mature a little, progress, have more self confidence even? I can almost promise you would find yourself not being as concerned with what others thought about you because you know the job you were hired to do, and you know you can do it well! Sometimes because of these situations we can find that some of our friendships along the way are lost, simply because they can’t quiet understand your new found passion and dedication. Often we find ourselves having mixed emotions because at the same time we are pumped about it, we remember the people who helped get us here are not as prevalent in our lives.

On the other hand, the good news is that in your new given position is another set of people to help get you even further. You can also find yourself being more of an encouragement to people around you, which in turn allows for their promotions to take place. Try not to doubt. Remembering always the God can see what you can’t.

It’s so easy to find discouragement in our lives. I want to ask that you fill my life with encouragement instead! In Jesus name. -Amen
