Growth

The way you grow spiritually is simple. You get out of it what you choose to put into it. Invest in your spiritual growth. Find something that works for you, if you learn better from reading, read the bible. If you are a person who has to hear what you learn, listen to the bible. If you are a visual learner, watch things that teach on the bible (if you choose this option, be sure to back it up with reading).

When I decided to fully allow Christ in, I needed to find my own way. Sometimes; the way others did it, wouldn’t work for me. It takes practice to become devoted to something. It also takes practice to get better at something. Seeking God is exactly the same. Did you also know that when we start growing in Christ our spiritual man is unseen by the physical eye. We start to see growth when the choices others see us make, reflect Christ. Growing can get painful at times. Growth in a spiritual sense takes effort and a willing heart.

I strive to see a positive change in the people that are in my everyday life. (Some call that your sphere of influence.) Through personal experience I am able to tell you confidently that when you fully surrender your life to Christ and ask Him to make you a new creation through Him, you can take more focus off yourself and put it onto others. You eventually will end up with the advice you are seeking for yourself. Now this is the tricky part… It’s so easy to give others advice but you also have to learn to take that same advice and apply it to your own life. This only works if your advice is positive and not judgmental. It’s REALLY important not to treat every person as if their situation is exactly like the last 2 people you helped. We must listen to the hurt in people and give them options for true healing; a healing that comes from the Holy Spirit. Direct them and yourself to God’s living word (the Bible). Your growth and theirs will go to new levels DAILY.
